A community portal for triathletes, runners and related endurance sports athletes for a client in Chicago. The goal is to provide the athletic community information on events and races, converse, share and connect with each other. Besides the front-end design and backend development, the branding was also designed by LDIi. Backend is built on a highly modded Drupal 6.xx framework, with several custom search, user interaction and multimedia modules.

Featuring a very advanced Race generation engine, the portal aims to build one of the most comprehensive database for endurance race related sport. To start with the database contains over 1500 detailed records of races. Soon a sophisticated e-com interface will allow athletes to register for their favorite races directly through the site.

The Race Details page is chock full of useful information. Race description, specs, info, integrated google map, registration information is something everything triathlete needs. Plus there are helpful tips from the RG community in the form of interactive conversations and ratings. A Race Calculator allows the athlete to keep track of their performance. A registered user can add any race to their My Races list to keep coming back for more.
